Lead/Head - Advisory & Consulting Services - Life Sciences

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead and scale advisory and consulting services supporting deep-tech, biotech, MedTech, and life sciences innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technology transfer, IP management, and technology commercialisation initiatives.
• Drive regulatory advisory for biotech, pharma, and medical device startups.
• Manage technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing and commercialisation.
• Build partnerships between industry, academia, research institutions, and startups.
• Lead client engagements, team management, and portfolio growth.
• Oversee IP strategy, patent analytics, technology valuation, licensing, and agreement negotiations.
• Build relationships with R&D teams, innovators, industry leaders, and regulatory experts.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Master's/PhD in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Materials Science, Chemical Sciences, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in technology transfer, IP management, R&D commercialisation, regulatory affairs, or deep-tech consulting.
• Experience transferring technologies from R&D/research labs to manufacturing or industry applications.
• Candidates from pharma, biotech, MedTech, engineering, FMCG R&D, academic research institutions, technology transfer offices, or IP consulting firms with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Proven managerial experience, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and corporate negotiation skills.

Important:

• Candidates from pharma and other R&D-intensive companies should have demonstrable technology transfer and commercialisation experience, particularly in moving innovations from research and development into manufacturing or industry use - not solely routine R&D or regulatory experience.
