Data Governance Developer/Lead

Role requires experience working with any of the data cataloging tools, ability to integrate multiple sources for metadata into the enterprise data catalog and implement a repeatable process

Responsibilities

• Understand and curate metadata sources and document cataloguing requirements.

• Design & implement ingestion workflows using tool based or customer interfaces (Python, APIs etc)
• Configuring Cataloguing tool per business requirements.
• Partner with Data owners for requirements, integrations and processes, participate in refinement sessions during planning and discovery.
• Partner with Data Management and Integration leads to continuously improve Data Management technologies and processes.
• Outline and apply software development best practices

Skillset

• 4+ years of Data management and cataloguing experience.
• Must have experience with any of the standard data management/cataloguing tools.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Lineage and Data Management.
• Experience working on 1 or more end to end catalog design and implementation projects
• Experience with metamodel design.
• Experience and strong proficiency with workflow development tools.
• Familiarity with code repository and version control tools such as Bitbucket/Git
• Experience with REST/API.
• Experience in working on Azure/AWS environment.
• Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced agile development environment.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
