Job Description
- As a Solution Architect for Data Modelling at Tredence, you will be responsible for understanding Enterprise datasets in various domains such as Sales, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, R&D, and Advanced Planning systems (SAP/Oracle etc). With a minimum of 5 years of experience in Data projects including Upgradation, Migration, Building Data lake foundation, and Maintenance, you will collaborate closely with product/business teams to comprehend related business processes, document business requirements, and formulate high-level specifications/requirements for Data Engineers.
Your role will involve developing logical/physical data models aligned with Medallion architecture/EDW/Kimball model. You will scout for the right grain of data in True source systems or Data Warehouses, construct reusable data models in intermediary layers, and ultimately create physical consumable views from data marts.
In addition, you should have a good understanding of Cloud architecture, solution components in the Cloud, DevOps, and DataOps. Proficiency in Data Governance, Data Quality frameworks, and Data Observability is essential. You should be familiar with DevOps processes, experienced in checking existing tables, data dictionaries, and table structures, and possess knowledge of normalizing tables. Understanding of Landing, Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers and Agile techniques will be beneficial for this role.
Key Skills required for this position include proficiency in ERWIN, ER Studio, OLAP/OLTP Services.
