Business Process Management

The Salesforce Business Analyst is accountable for comprehending the business strategy, collecting data, assessing release outcomes, product architectural design that suits the Salesforce platform, and following the agile development processes.

The Salesforce Business Analyst shall have the overall responsibility for ensuring the quality of the releases, by helping resolve system-wide issues, and other impediments in an assignment. The overall goal here is to ensure that the product delivery quality, target deadlines, and cost goals are met.

• The Salesforce Business Analyst shall also serve as the interface to other teams working on other components of the product and collaborating with them.

• The candidate should be able to work with business partners to analyze and resolve their queries and ensure compliance with all controlled processes according to business and IT requirements
• Work closely with Salesforce architect to manage ongoing projects and translate business requirements into actionable solution designs, create a detailed functional design, perform systems configurations, and develop test cases and test plans
• Analyze Integration requirements and provide solution design to integrate first-party applications with Salesforce. Partner with internal and external technology and business teams to define business processes and associated system requirements. Provide subject matter expertise for integration strategy, storyboarding, and requirements development
• Plan and partner with end-users for user acceptance testing. Increase efficiencies (e.g. faster time to market, the lower total cost of ownership) for our users. Use data-based decisions to determine which applications and solutions are required for Salesforce hub group solutions
• Establish specifications for new projects by developing project goals, phases, and budgets
• Ability to translate business requirements to define functional solutions and work closely with technical and business teams
• Develop and maintain a professional relationship with all stakeholders within GSIS and Business teams and provide support
• Responsible for being hands-on in operations and support within the Salesforce environment and integrations
• Drive projects that improve support-related processes and our customers’ technical support experience with minimal guidance
• Take ownership of creating a knowledge base to document routine issues and troubleshooting approaches
• Designs new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
• Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
• Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
• Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming a project team; establishing project budget
• Assists in formulating and defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements
• Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary under the direction of experienced

• Competent to consider most business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
• Presentation skills to communicate with management and customers
• Supports stakeholders in understanding analyses/outcomes and using them on topics related to their own areas of expertise. Interaction with others demands influencing and persuasion in a tactful manner to explain and advise on performed analyses of information
• Prepare and manage a schedule for delivery to meet business requirements and maintain governance and control
• Perform impact analysis from IS perspective for new business requests
• Translates along with the product owner the needs and requirements into user stories with associated digital experience( build functional mock-ups, wireframe diagrams, define conceptual data models etc. as appropriate), Business rules
• Define dependencies between user stories, acceptance criteria for each user story and reviews it with PO for approval
• Translate needs to user stories covering functional and non-functional requirements
• Define dependencies between user stories
• Ensures Acceptance criteria is defined for all user stories post review with PO
• Performs Validation and Testing of each user story from a functional perspective and support in providing product demo for every sprint

• Good understanding of software architectures, software algorithms, data structures and software engineering principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good exposure to design, development, debugging tools, and agile methodologies
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all project roles, across multiple project teams
• 4+ Years of experience with Force.com Platform and 2+ Years of experience in Salesforce Architecture
• Experience with Salesforce Best practices for system development and integration
• Strong background in database design and system architecture
• Experience doing major transformation from Classic to Lightning
• 3+ Years of experience with Apex Triggers, Batch Classes and @Future Methods, Controllers Calling REST web services from Apex, generating and parsing JSON in Apex Visualforce Pages and Components Visualforce Remoting Effective Apex unit testing, including web service mocking
• Should have experienced the Service cloud / Sales Cloud/ Community Cloud
• Experience with Salesforce integration patterns, including application programming interfaces (API) and bulk data uploads
• Experience with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts andtechnologies such as ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Jenkins, Git (Code Commit) and DevOps in a Salesforce environment
• Upbeat, highly motivated, and self-starter Value Adds
• Prior experience as part of the Digital Transformation Office
• Being hands-on is a value add. When required, this attribute will help in supporting the team on debugging issues or code reviews.
• Exposure to PaaS and SaaS ways of developing the product is a value add.

• Must have been a developer for 6 to 8 years or more in relevant areas in a tier-1 or tier-2 ranked product company with about 1 to 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role
• Experience working with cross-cultural teams.

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering from a tier-1 or tier-2 ranked institute with a major in Computer Science or Information Technology.

major in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with a minor in Computer Science or Information Technology.

• MBA degree from an accredited university with a specialization in one of the following
