Finance Officer (Chartered Accountant)

Turium is seeking amid-level Chartered Accountantto play a key role in our global finance operations as we scale across Australia and India. This role is ideal for a CA who brings strong technical foundationsandthe confidence to take ownership, improve processes, and partner closely with leadership.

Youll sit at the centre of our finance engine spanning global tax, payroll, reporting, and compliance and help ensure Turium remains accurate, compliant, and investor-ready as we grow.

What Youll Be Doing

• Own and supportglobal tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong focus on Indian tax laws (direct and indirect)
• Manage and overseepayroll operations, ensuring statutory compliance and internal accuracy
• Leadaccounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)processes end-to-end
• Review, validate, and manageinvoices, contracts, and vendor payments
• Performmonthly and quarterly reconciliations, maintaining audit-ready financial records
• Supportfinancial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and project cost tracking
• Act as a key point of contact forexternal accountants, auditors, and compliance partners
• Identify opportunities toimprove finance processes, controls, and documentation
• Deliver ad-hoc analysis and insights to supportexecutive and operational decision-making
• Support thesetup of the business entity in India, including obtaining and maintaining all required legal, tax, and statutory registrations (e.g., PAN, TAN, GST, Professional Tax, PF, ESIC, and any other applicable licenses)
• Ensureongoing compliance with Indian regulatory, tax, and corporate laws, including timely filings, returns, and renewals across central, state, and local authorities

What Were Looking For

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) non-negotiable
• 3-5 years experiencein finance, accounting, or tax, ideally with global or cross-border exposure
• Strong hands-on experience acrossAP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance
• Solid command ofMicrosoft Exceland exposure to modern financial systems
• High attention to detail paired with astrong sense of ownership and accountability
• Confident communicator, comfortable working withsenior stakeholders across Australia and India
• Proactive, commercially minded, and excited to grow with a fast-scaling AI company
