Position Overview:

As the Head of SEO Traffic Generation, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies to increase our organic search visibility, drive targeted traffic, and improve conversion rates for our motor insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development and Implementation
• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with our business goals
• Manage an annual SEO budget of $500,000 - $750,000
• Set and achieve ambitious traffic generation targets (e.g., 20% YoY growth in organic traffic)
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and product teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital touchpoints

Content Optimization:

• Oversee the creation and optimization of high-quality, SEO-friendly content for both branded and non-branded keywords
• Develop a content calendar that addresses key search trends in the motor insurance industry
• Implement effective internal linking strategies to boost the visibility of key pages

Technical SEO:

• Conduct regular technical SEO audits and implement improvements
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure website architecture supports SEO goals
• Monitor and optimize page load speeds, mobile responsiveness, and other technical factors affecting search performance

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

• Work closely with the CRO team to optimize landing pages and the user journey for maximum conversions
• Implement A/B testing strategies to continually improve conversion rates
• Target a 10% improvement in conversion rates for organic traffic within the first year

Analytics and Reporting:

• Utilize advanced analytics tools to track SEO performance, including traffic volume, rankings, and conversion rates
• Develop comprehensive reports on SEO initiatives, their impact on business KPIs, and ROI
• Provide regular updates to senior management on SEO performance and strategic recommendations

Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, content writers, and analysts
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in SEO, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of driving significant organic traffic growth and improving conversions in a competitive industry
• Deep understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy
• Experience managing large SEO budgets ($500k+) and demonstrating clear ROI
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is a plus
