Role: Regional Business Manager (EBO - East)

Location: Kolkata

Reporting To: Head of EBO Sales & Operations

Team Size: 12 - 15 direct reportees (overall ~500 staff)

Overview:

The Regional Business Manager will drive business performance, retail expansion, and operational excellence across Exclusive Brand Outlets in East India (West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa & North East). The role demands strong leadership, sales acumen, and operational expertise to deliver revenue growth and ensure brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets; monitor KPIs (sell-through, bill value, conversion).
• Ensure smooth retail operations, cost control, inventory management, and manpower productivity.
• Lead and develop Area Managers, Store Managers, and retail staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Identify and execute new store expansion opportunities; liaise with landlords and mall operators.
• Drive superior customer experience, brand initiatives, and seasonal campaigns.
• Coordinate with Marketing, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain; provide regular MIS and business updates.

Requirements:

• Graduate or MBA preferred with 15 - 20 years of retail operations experience.
• Prior experience managing EBO's in East India is essential.
• Proven track record of leading large teams and delivering strong sales growth.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
