Mining Engineer

Position Title – Mining Engineer.

Location - Across UltraTech Cement Units in states of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam

Designation Assistant Engineer/Engineer/ Senior Engineer/ Assistant Manager.

Qualification

• B. Tech
• Diploma

Certifications

• 1st Class Mines Manager
• 2nd Class Mines Manager

Required Skills: Mining, Drilling, blasting, SAP, Safety, Analysis & Problem Solving, Shift Operation.

:

1. Responsible for execution and supervision of mining operations in compliance with the Mines Act, MCDR and other applicable statutory requirements
2. He shall carry out the duties assigned to him by the manager, and shall see that in the part of the mine assigned to him by the manager, all work is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the act and of the regulations and orders made thereunder.
3. He shall capable of analysing the KPI outcome, its deviation and to further improve it
4. Should have exposure of cost analysis skill at various Mine activity for optimization purpose
5. Quality Management: Ensure supply of desired quality of Limestone for meeting Plant Quantity despite challenge of balancing multiple critical parameters i.e. MgO, SiO2 & alkali by continuous feeding of limestone to crusher.
6. Production & Development: • Supervision of mining activities as per statute.• Execute plan by deploying sufficient men & machinery.• Ensure Optimum utilization of all HEMM and transportation equipment to maintain efficiency.• Ensure maintenance of Haul roads, In pit floor area for smooth operation.• Responsible for supervising activities of Mine Foreman, mining mates & contractors workmen.• Preparation of area for operating drill.
7. Safety Management: Responsible for Safety of work place and compliance of PPES among the workmen,1. Development of mine working benches as per permission,2. Monitoring quality parameters as per needs.3.Cost optimization,4. Sustain equipments (HEMM) efficiency.
8. Safety• Guide staff & ensure implementation of activities in line with Mines Safety Standards and procedure.• Ensure safety of all men and machine in every shift by taking rounds (to identify & correct unsafe act / condition) at all working location in shift.
9. Statutory Compliance• Ensure actions as per conditions of 1. HEMM permission 2. Safety Management Plan 3. EC Conditions 4. Updation of statutory record
