Unacademy - Category Head - K12

We are Hiring: Category Head K12 | Unacademy
At Unacademy, were building one of Indias most impactful learning ecosystems for school students - and were looking for a Category Head K12 to help us scale this mission.
This is a high-ownership leadership role where youll take end-to-end responsibility for Unacademys K12 business - spanning strategy, growth, academic excellence, and P&L.

You'll work closely with senior leadership, educators, and cross-functional teams to drive meaningful outcomes for millions of learners across Classes 6-12.

Please note: We will strictly consider candidates from the EdTech industry only.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Owning the K12 category P&L, including budgets, pricing, and growth targets
- Defining and executing go-to-market strategies for new courses and programs
- Scaling growth across acquisition, conversion, retention, and monetization
- Building and nurturing a strong educator ecosystem and ensuring academic quality
- Partnering closely with Product, Tech, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Ops
- Using data and insights to track performance, improve NPS, and guide decisions
Who we are looking for:
- 6-9 years of experience in Category Management, Business Leadership, or P&L roles
- Strong track record of scaling B2C / EdTech / consumer-tech businesses
- Experience in K12 or education-led ecosystems is a strong plus
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and execution bias
