Hiring for a Steel Manufacturing company in South Kolkata

Experience required: 2–5 years of experience in HR Generalist/HR Operations. (Preferably Steel Industry)

Qualification required: MBA/PGDM

Job Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, documentation, employee records and separation formalities.
• Maintain and update employee master data and HRIS/HRMS records.
• Monitor attendance, leave, and regularisation, and coordinate with employees and reporting managers.
• Run monthly payroll, attendance inputs, deductions, and employee-related changes.
• Assist in statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Professional Tax and other applicable labour laws.
• Handle employee queries and provide timely support on HR policies, benefits, and processes.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, HR communications and internal events.
• Assist in recruitment activities including sourcing, interview coordination, documentation and joining formalities.
• Prepare HR MIS, reports and dashboards as required.
• Assist in implementing HR policies, processes, and organisational initiatives.
• Ensure proper maintenance and confidentiality of employee records and HR documents.
