Head - Human Resources - Foundry

Company: Top Iron Foundry with Annual Turnover of 1000 Cr and 2000 Employee.

Location: Coimbatore.

Role Overview : The Head - HR will be responsible for driving the HR & IR strategy for the organization, ensuring effective people management, industrial harmony, and talent development.

• This role will comprise 60% HR and 40% IR responsibilities, requiring a strong balance of strategic HR expertise and hands-on Industrial Relations (IR) management.

Key Responsibilities:

Industrial Relations (40%).

• Government liaison Ing and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Implementation and management of Standing Orders.
• Handling long-term settlements and union negotiations.
• Building and maintaining constructive relationships with unions.
• Managing IR/PR activities to ensure smooth industrial harmony.

Human Resources (60%).

• Talent assessment, competency mapping, and talent management.
• Building strong industry connections for talent acquisition and benchmarking.
• Driving succession planning (internal & external).
• Designing and maintaining Candidate Assessment Sheets (CAS) across levels.
• Implementing and managing the Performance Management System (PMS).
• Overseeing Learning & Development (functional, behavioural, and leadership).
• Designing and executing employee engagement modules.

Other Requirements.

• Should be able speak Tamil.
• 18+ years of experience in HR & IR, preferably in manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record in union negotiations and long-term settlements.
• Strong HR strategy experience in Talent Management, PMS, and L&D.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Brief JD will be shared to shortlisted candidate.
