Growing together.Primary Responsibilities:Design, code, test, and deploy end-to-end full-stack applications in a high-performing, scalable enterprise environmentDevelop responsive and interactive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, jQuery, and Node.jsBuild scalable back-end microservices and web services using Java, Spring Boot, and enterprise application servers (Red Hat JBoss EAP, Tomcat)Design, optimize, and maintain relational database queries and schemas utilizing SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQLImplement automated test suites using Mockito, JUnit, and Selenium to maintain continuous integration and software quality standardsBuild, maintain, and enhance DevOps CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Jenkins, Azure, Docker, and GitHubActively participate in Agile ceremonies and engineering practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), collaborating with cross-functional product and engineering teams to deliver iterative software solutionsComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications:2+ years of full-stack software development experience in high-performing, scalable application environments2+ years of experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, and Node.js2+ years of experience building microservices and web services with Spring Boot and application servers such as Tomcat or Red Hat JBoss EAP2+ years of experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL)1+ years of experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, or Selenium)1+ years of experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Docker, and Microsoft AzureExperience working within an Agile development methodology (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe)Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and optimizing microservices in Microsoft Azure cloud environmentsExperience with jQuery and modern front-end state management librariesDemonstrated solid technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and code optimization skills in high-concurrency environmentsAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
