About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic, focused, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Guru Nanak Teachings Preacher & Fundraising Coordinator. This role requires someone who is passionate about spreading the teachings of Guru Nanak, has a strong understanding of Punjabi culture, and is committed to contributing to social causes. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Punjabi, with prior experience in NGO work, and a proven track record in fundraising. The candidate should be smart, goal-oriented, and capable of working from an office setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preaching Guru Nanaks Teachings:

• Educate and inspire others by preaching the values and teachings of Guru Nanak.
• Conduct sessions, workshops, and community outreach programs to spread awareness about Guru Nanak&aposs philosophy.
• Engage with people from various backgrounds to help them understand the teachings of Guru Nanak.

2.Fundraising & Outreach:

• Plan and implement effective fundraising campaigns to support the organization&aposs mission.
• Cultivate relationships with donors and potential supporters to ensure continuous funding.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase community engagement and support for the cause.

3.Language Skills:

• Fluency in Punjabi (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential for communicating the teachings effectively within the community.
• Fluent in English for writing, presentations, and communication with a diverse audience.

4.Community & NGO Experience:

• Bring prior experience of working with NGOs, especially in a leadership or community outreach capacity.
• Contribute to social causes and collaborate with other team members to enhance the impact of the organization&aposs initiatives.

5.Focus & Smart Approach:

• Exhibit strong focus, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

6.Additional Responsibilities:

• Support administrative tasks as required.
• Help organize events, programs, and other community initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Cultural Fit: Must come from a Punjabi family background to connect authentically with the community.
• Educational Qualification: A degree in relevant fields (Social Work, NGO Management, Religious Studies, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience: Previous experience working in NGOs and familiarity with fundraising strategies is required.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Punjabi (both reading and writing) and fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Skills: Strong communication skills, fundraising expertise, organizational abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
