Budget Analyst

What role you will play in team: You will be a key member of the finance department, working on the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of budgets across various UPES departments.

What you will do: Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights to support better budget allocation and decision-making.

Key responsibility:

• Collaborate with department heads to gather budget requests.
• Analyze budget requests and make recommendations based on financial data analysis.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive budget models.
• Monitor actual spending against budgets and prepare variance reports.
• Provide regular updates to management on budget performance.
• Develop and implement budget control measures.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-2 years of experience in budgeting or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
