Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead with strong expertise in manual testing, automation testing, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills, guiding QA teams while actively contributing to automation frameworks, performance testing, and quality engineering practices.

This role requires hands-on experience with modern testing tools, AI-assisted development tools, cloud platforms, and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers across manual, automation, and performance testing.
• Define and implement test strategy, test plans, and quality processes.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality across the SDLC.
• Drive continuous improvement in test automation and performance testing practices.
• Review test cases, automation scripts, and performance reports.

Manual Testing

• Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Ensure functional, regression, integration, and system testing coverage.
• Manage
  
  defect lifecycle and root cause analysis.

Automation Testing

• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
• Develop automated test scripts and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve automation coverage and reduce manual effort.

Performance Testing

• Design and execute performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Analyze system performance, bottlenecks, and scalability issues.
• Work with engineering teams to optimize application performance.

Cloud & Database Testing

• Work with AWS-based applications and services.
• Validate data integrity and perform database testing using MySQL.
• Support testing of cloud-native applications.

AI-Assisted Development

• Utilize AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate test automation and engineering productivity.
• Evaluate and adopt modern AI-driven testing practices.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Manual Testing
• Automation testing using Playwright and Selenium
• Performance testing using JMeter
• Experience working with AWS cloud environments
• Database knowledge with MySQL
• Experience using AI coding/testing tools (e.g., Cursor)

Leadership Skills

• Proven experience leading QA teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to drive test strategy and quality engineering initiatives
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Knowledge of API testing tools
• Understanding of DevOps and shift-left testing practices
