Chief Risk Officer - CA

Key Responsibilities:

• CA Must.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework covering credit, market, liquidity, operational, fraud, regulatory, reputational, and strategic risks.
• Define, implement, and periodically review the Risk Appetite Framework and ensure alignment with business strategy and regulatory expectations.
• Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate key risks through structured risk assessment methodologies and well-defined mitigation plans.
• Develop and implement robust credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk policies in line with RBI/NHB regulations.
• Provide independent risk challenge to business proposals, new products, and growth initiatives to ensure balanced risk-adjusted decision-making.
• Oversee fraud risk management including prevention, detection, investigation, and corrective action frameworks across the organization.
• Lead root cause analysis of portfolio slippages, policy deviations, operational failures, and control weaknesses and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish strong internal controls, loan underwriting standards, and credit monitoring mechanisms to protect portfolio quality.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines, with continuous monitoring and reporting of deviations.
• Design and oversee risk MIS, dashboards, and early warning systems to provide timely, accurate, and actionable risk insights to senior management and the Board.
• Represent the Risk function before the Board, Risk Management Committee, regulators, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including RBI/NHB inspections, supervisory observations, and audit findings.
