You Are:

UST is searching for an experienced Workday Application Developer to design, develop, configure, integrate, test, and support Workday applications and solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Workday Extend, Workday Studio, Workday integrations, APIs, and Workday security, along with a good understanding of HR and business processes.

The opportunity:

· Design, develop, and maintain custom Workday applications using Workday Extend and related technologies.

· Develop and support Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and APIs.

· Build integrations using REST and SOAP web services, RaaS, WQL, JSON, XML, and XSLT.

· Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday application and integration solutions.

· Configure and customize Workday business processes, reports, calculated fields, and security as required.

· Develop, test, debug, and deploy Workday applications and integrations across development, testing, and production environments.

· Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

· Troubleshoot application and integration issues and provide root-cause analysis and production support.

· Follow Workday development standards, security practices, coding guidelines, and release-management processes.

· Participate in Workday releases, regression testing, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications, test cases, and deployment documentation.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 3+ years of experience in Workday development, application development, or Workday integrations.

· Hands-on experience with Workday Extend and/or Workday application development.

· Strong experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.

· Knowledge of REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, XSLT, WQL, and RaaS.

· Experience with Workday security, business processes, reports, and calculated fields.

· Strong programming and problem-solving skills.

· Experience with SDLC, testing, deployment, and production support.

· Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

· Preferred Qualifications:

· Workday Extend certification or relevant Workday certification.

· Experience developing applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.

· Experience with Workday Orchestrate.

· Experience integrating Workday with third-party HR, payroll, finance, or identity-management systems.

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Toronto, Ontario

Compensation Range: $115,000-$144,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
