Senior DevOps & SecOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps & SecOps Engineer to take end-to-end operational ownership of Vedantus mature, large-scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This is not a role to build a DevOps ecosystem from scratch — youll inherit a stable, well-architected environment and work closely with experienced engineering leads who understand their systems. Alongside DevOps ownership, you will also own infrastructure-focused security operations, including access governance, vulnerability management, hardening, patching, and audit support.

What Youll Own:

• GCP infrastructure: Compute, GKE, networking, storage, CDN, load balancing
• IAM, service accounts, and secrets management
• Kafka clusters, GitLab/GitLab Runners, Argo CD
• Elasticsearch/Kibana and Grafana monitoring stack
• CI/CD infrastructure and automation
• Cloud security operations: vulnerability management, access reviews, hardening, incident response
• Cloud cost monitoring and optimization

What Were Looking For:

• 4–6 years of hands-on DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure/SRE experience
• Strong production experience with GCP and Kubernetes (preferably GKE)

  Get Hired
• Strong Linux administration and cloud networking (VPC, DNS, load balancers, firewalls)
• Experience with IAM, secrets management, and cloud security
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD infrastructure
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell/Bash)
• Hands-on cloud security experience: vulnerability management, IAM governance, hardening
• Good to have: Kafka, GitLab/Argo CD administration, AWS exposure, GCP/Kubernetes certifications

Youll be successful in this role if you can independently own a mature production environment, know when to improve vs. maintain, automate repetitive work, and treat security hygiene as an ongoing responsibility — not a one-time project.
