Job Description
- As a full stack MERN developer, you will play a crucial role in producing scalable software solutions throughout the entire software development life cycle, from inception to deployment. Your responsibilities will encompass both front-end and back-end coding using languages, frameworks, and libraries. The challenge lies in delivering a highly-available service utilizing various third-party data sources, requiring you to design robust systems that ensure reliability even in unpredictable environments.
You will collaborate with the development team to brainstorm software solutions and see them through the application development lifecycle. Transforming designer wireframes into functional code, designing user interactions, managing databases, and creating back-end applications will be part of your routine. Additionally, you will lead the Full Stack Developer team, establish best practices, develop scalable RESTful APIs, ensure application responsiveness, address technical and developmental requirements, and implement security and data protection measures. Keeping abreast of industry trends and applying them to meet company needs is also essential.
To excel in this role, you should have at least 1 year of experience as a MERN Stack Developer, proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS preprocessors like Sass, as well as a strong grasp of Typescript. Your skills should include building APIs in Node.js, writing effective React components, and working with technologies such as Redux, Axios, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, and more. Knowledge of testing frameworks, data structures, system design, and algorithms is advantageous.
In addition to technical expertise, soft skills are crucial for success in this role. Having an eye for visual design, effective communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, adaptability, teamwork, and the capacity to work independently are all valuable traits.
