Manager - US Technology Audit

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage US audit engagements for technology industry clients from planning through completion.
• Review financial statements and audit documentation to ensure compliance with US GAAP, GAAS, and regulatory requirements.
• Assess business processes, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Identify audit risks and develop appropriate audit strategies and procedures.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit team members.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain required information and resolve audit-related issues.
• Prepare and present audit findings, recommendations, and reports to management.
• Ensure timely completion of engagements while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay updated with changes in auditing standards, accounting regulations, and technology industry trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex accounting and audit matters.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SOX, and audit methodologies.
• Experience auditing technology companies, SaaS businesses, software firms, or IT-enabled organizations.
• Proficiency in risk assessment, internal controls testing, and financial statement audits.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition, software capitalization, and technology industry accounting practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and client relationships effectively.
• Experience using audit tools and data analytics techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in US Audit with significant exposure to Technology Audit engagements.
