About this Role
What you’ll do
- Deliver timely and effective cybersecurity assessments and consultancy across multiple projects.
- Conduct control-based security assessments and design reviews for systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with internal security requirements, policies, and regulatory standards.
- Identify organisational security risks, manage them with stakeholders, and drive closure of risk items.
- Provide security design input for new products, services, and changes to align with security policy and architecture.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure collaborative engagement.
- Document findings, recommendations, and action plans, and prepare accurate reports and presentations.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen security posture.
Who you are
- Minimum 5 years of IT security experience, including security architecture reviews and perimeter security (firewalls, VPN, proxy, network management).Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals, frameworks, threats, and risk management.
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end control-based security assessments and architecture reviews.
- Familiarity with standards/frameworks such as ISO27001, ISO22301, NIST 800-53, OWASP.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyse data, create reports, and simplify complex problems using innovative approaches.
- Advantageous: Cybersecurity certifications (CCSP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001), knowledge of GDPR, and experience in the telecom industry.
