Fraud Audit Analyst

What role you will play in team: You'll be part of a specialized team dedicated to detecting and preventing fraudulent activities within Vodafone M-Pesa's financial transactions.

What you will do: You will analyze transaction data, identify suspicious patterns, and investigate potential fraud cases.

Key responsibility:

• Analyzing large datasets of financial transactions to identify suspicious patterns indicative of fraud.
• Conducting investigations into potential fraud cases, gathering evidence, and documenting findings.
• Collaborating with other departments (e.g., law enforcement) to investigate and resolve fraud incidents.
• Developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies and controls.
• Preparing reports summarizing fraud activity and control effectiveness.
• Staying updated on emerging fraud schemes and technologies.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in fraud investigation or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of financial transaction processing systems.
