IT Audit And Control Specialist

What role you will play in team: You will play a key role in ensuring the security and reliability of Vodafone M-Pesa's IT infrastructure and systems through audits and controls.

What you will do: Conduct IT audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements to protect our systems and data.

Key responsibility:

• Planning and executing IT audits, including network security, application controls, and database security.
• Assessing IT risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls and identifying areas for improvement.
• Preparing audit reports and presentations for management.
• Staying up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Working collaboratively with IT teams to implement corrective actions.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in IT audit or security.
• Understanding of IT security frameworks and best practices.
• Knowledge of various operating systems, databases, and networking technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
