Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and expanding the studios presence across corporate, residential, retail, and hospitality segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, preparing and delivering proposals and presentations, collaborating with design and project teams to align offerings with client needs, and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact to closure. The Business Development Manager will monitor market trends, maintain a strong understanding of the architecture and interior design industry, and represent W Design Studio at client meetings, networking events, and industry forums. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of activities in CRM tools, reporting on business development performance, and supporting strategic initiatives to drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Strong business development, sales, and client relationship management skills, with experience in B2B or professional services environments.
• Knowledge of architecture, interior design, real estate, or related industries, with the ability to understand and communicate design solutions and project offerings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including the ability to prepare proposals, pitch decks, and client-facing materials.
• Proficiency in lead generation, pipeline management, and use of CRM or sales tracking tools, with a structured and organized working style.
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills to assess market opportunities, segment clients, and support pricing and positioning decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary design and project teams, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet client expectations.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
