Roles and Responsibilities

• Tax Preparation: Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Client Consultation: Provide personalized tax advice to clients, addressing their unique financial situations and goals.
• Tax Planning: Develop strategic tax plans to minimize liabilities and maximize deductions, tailored to client needs.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure clients remain compliant.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial records to identify tax-saving opportunities and provide actionable insights.
• Audit Support: Assist clients during tax audits, preparing documentation and liaising with tax authorities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to integrate tax strategies into broader financial plans.
• Research: Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues to provide informed recommendations.
• Client Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, explaining complex tax concepts in an accessible manner.
• Record Keeping: Ensure accurate documentation of all tax-related activities and client interactions.

• Educational Background: A bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or EA certification is highly preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 6 months of professional experience in tax consulting or accounting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in tax software (e.g., TurboTax, H&R Block) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex financial data and identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in preparing tax documents and ensuring compliance with regulations.
