GL Accountant
As Finance GL Accountant you are responsible for GL accounting activities of various Westlake entities across the globe. You will be part of an enthusiastic team located in Bangalore which operates according to Indian working hours.
Essential Functions

• Ascertains compliance with Westlake Policies & Procedures and ensure accuracy of General Ledgers
• Preparation of journal entries
• Ensure that accruals are properly analyzed and recorded
• Preparation and review of account reconciliations
• Analysis of the various accounts and variances per legal entities, obtain explanations on deviations
• Participating in project groups to implement (new) accounting policies & processes
• Prepare and coordinate documentation for internal/external auditors
• Statutory Accounting: Prepare documentation including trend analysis
• Close interaction with Regional Controllers

GRIR process
Intercompany reconciliation
Bonus accruals
FX revaluation
Lease accounting entries
Qualifications

• B. Com, MBA Finance, BBA Finance
• 1-3 years experience in accounting, with good knowledge of GL accounting
• SAP (G/L module) experience is required. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus
