Financial Controller

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Controller with 3- 4 years of post-MBA experience from a reputed institute. The candidate should have strong exposure to financial planning, decision-making, and controlling functions within a startup environment, with a stable career track (maximum 1-2 job changes).

Key Responsibilities :

1. Credit Management :

• Evaluate creditworthiness of travel agents, corporate clients, and partners
• Set and review credit limits
• Approve or reject credit requests

2. Accounts Receivable (AR) Control :

• Monitor outstanding invoices
• Ensure timely billing and collections
• Reduce overdue payments and bad debt

3. Collections & Follow-ups :

• Coordinate with clients for payments
• Handle escalations for delayed payments
• Negotiate payment plans if needed

4. Risk Management :

• Identify high-risk clients
• Block or restrict services for defaulters
• Maintain healthy cash flow

5. Reconciliation & Reporting :

• Reconcile customer accounts
• Prepare aging reports (30/60/90 days)
• MIS reports for management

6. Coordination :

• Work with :

• a. Sales team (for client onboarding)
• b. Finance team (for accounting)
• c. Operations (ticketing, bookings)
• 7. Policy & Compliance :

• Implement credit control policies
• Ensure compliance with company rules and contracts
