Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Treasury Front Office based in Bangalore. The Head of Treasury Front Office will develop and implement trading strategies, and oversee risk management processes such across currencies, interest rates and commodities. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, optimizing trading strategies and ensuring compliance with internal policies. The role also involves alignment of market actions with business goals.
Desired Skillsets
- Proficiency in Trading, including expertise in developing and managing Trading Strategies, particularly in FX markets.
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate market trends and inform decision-making
- In-depth knowledge of Finance and Hedging practices.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing a trading team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities

1. Forex Risk Management: Execute and manage foreign exchange transactions to minimize currency risk to business and optimizing outcomes.
2. Investment Management: Oversee funds deployment across a range of fixed income instruments to optimize returns and manage interest rate risk.
3. Understand the manage credit risk in investment book.
4. Strategic Planning - Anchor planning for Other Income.
5. Liquidity & Cash Management - Optimize working capital and manage short-term funding requirements.Qualifications & Skills
- MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in treasury operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in Forex trading and Fixed Income markets.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and risk management practices.
- Knowledge of accounting standards applicable in a Corporate Treasury desirable
- Good understanding of RBI regulations applicable to Corporates will be an advantage
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Preferred Attributes
- Experience in a bank / mutual fund / insurance company or large corporate environment.
- Exposure to regulatory frameworks and compliance in treasury operations.
- Ability to lead and mentor a high-performing team.
