Role Overview:
As the Chief Financial Officer based in Kolkata, you will serve as the primary architect of the organization's financial strategy, steering the company toward sustainable growth and long-term value creation. You will work closely with the Board of Directors, the CEO, and executive leadership to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights. Your day-to-day will involve overseeing the entire finance function, from capital allocation and treasury management to rigorous financial reporting and investor relations. By maintaining a robust fiscal framework and ensuring strict compliance, you will act as a critical business partner, driving operational efficiency and securing the financial health of the enterprise in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end corporate finance function to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals and long-term profitability.
- Direct treasury operations and capital structure management to optimize liquidity and mitigate financial risks for the organization.
- Oversee comprehensive financial reporting and ensure adherence to Ind-AS, US GAAP and IFRS standards to maintain transparency with stakeholders.
- Drive the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes to provide the leadership team with accurate visibility into business performance.
- Manage investor relations by articulating the company's financial narrative and growth potential to shareholders and external partners.
- Spearhead complex financial modeling initiatives to evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions that drive business expansion.
- Direct all taxation strategies and compliance frameworks to minimize liabilities and ensure the company remains in good standing with regulatory authorities.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale corporate finance operations, with a proven ability to translate financial data into high-level strategic decisions.
- Exceptional proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting, enabling the business to navigate market volatility and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence board members, investors, and cross-functional teams effectively.
- Deep technical knowledge of Ind-AS, GAAP and IFRS, combined with a rigorous approach to taxation and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement.
