Job Description

WWF-India is looking for a skilled trainer, educator, and content developer who is passionate about delivering high-quality environmental education programs. As a professional in this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging educational resources and conducting training sessions to enhance environmental awareness and practical skills among students and teachers.

Based in New Delhi, your primary responsibilities will include planning and delivering interactive workshops and capacity-building sessions for educators, students, and youth across various platforms. You will customize lesson plans for different age groups and learning needs, facilitate group discussions and hands-on activities, and focus on inquiry-based learning.

In addition, you will be involved in designing, writing, and editing education material aligned with national curricula and WWF program priorities. Collaboration with subject experts and incorporating real-world examples and gamification techniques will be essential for creating impactful resources.

You will also be responsible for gathering feedback from workshops and training sessions to measure outcomes, documenting success stories and case studies, and submitting detailed reports for program tracking and donor communications. Furthermore, you will organize upskilling sessions for educators, eco-club leads, and volunteers to ensure continuous professional development.

To excel in this role, you should hold a post-graduate degree in environmental science, wildlife biology, or a related scientific discipline from a reputable university, along with a Bachelors in Education (B.Ed). With 7-9 years of experience in curriculum and content development, strong written and verbal English skills, and a basic understanding of environmental concepts, you will play a crucial role in driving environmental education initiatives.

Knowledge of formal school curricula such as CBSE, ICSE, and IB, as well as experience in training, will be advantageous. Keeping abreast of best practices in environmental education, digital learning, and youth engagement will be key to your success in this position.

Occasional travel to schools or event venues may be required as part of your responsibilities. If you are passionate about environmental education and possess the necessary qualifications and skills, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity at WWF-India.,
