YAL is hiring Junior AI Engineers to build AI-powered applications using Python, LLMs, APIs, and backend technologies. The role emphasizes practical experience with LLMs, RAG, prompting, tool calling, debugging, and testing.ResponsibilitiesBuild AI-powered applications using Python and LLM technologies.Work with REST APIs, databases, Git, and basic backend development.Develop solutions using LLMs through projects, internships, or professional experience.Apply prompting, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and tool calling.Debug and test AI applications using a structured approach.RequirementsGood working knowledge of Python and ability to write clear, maintainable code.Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, databases, and basic backend development.Practical experience building with LLMs through projects, internships, or professional work.Basic understanding of prompting, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and tool calling.Structured approach to debugging and testing.
