As we scale rapidly, data-driven decision-making is a critical driver of growth, retention, operational excellence, and customer experience.The Role : We're looking for an Analytics Lead who can combine strong analytical execution with business ownership. This role will work across functions to establish reliable metrics, uncover business drivers, support leadership decisions, and build a high-quality analytics culture and team.What You'll Do : - Own the analytics function and establish analytical frameworks, processes, and best practices across business teams.- Define and standardize business KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks across growth, revenue, customers, operations, and performance.- Lead deep-dive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and drivers of business performance.- Drive funnel, cohort, segmentation, retention, revenue, forecasting, and root-cause analysis across key business areas.- Build scalable dashboards and automated reporting using SQL, Python, Tableau/Power BI, and other BI tools.- Partner with Product, Growth, Marketing, Operations, Finance, CX, and leadership teams on strategic analytics initiatives.- Translate complex business questions into structured analytical problems and actionable recommendations.- Lead analytical projects from problem definition through execution, stakeholder communication, and impact measurement.- Ensure data quality, metric consistency, reporting accuracy, and effective analytics governance.- Mentor and guide analysts, review analytical outputs, and raise the overall quality and maturity of the analytics function.What We're Looking For : - 5+ years of experience in Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, BI, or a similar role.- Strong experience in B2C, consumer internet, e-commerce, marketplace, or other high-growth businesses.- Strong SQL skills and good proficiency in Python for analytical problem-solving.- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.- Strong understanding of business metrics, statistical analysis, forecasting, segmentation, and performance analysis.- Experience independently leading analytics projects and working with senior stakeholders.- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.- Ability to mentor analysts and establish structured analytics processes is preferred.Good to Have : - Experience with BigQuery, Metabase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, or similar analytics platforms.- Experience building automated reporting and analytics pipelines.- Prior experience managing or mentoring an analytics team in a high-growth startup.Why Join YES MADAM? : - High-impact role with strong visibility and ownership.- Opportunity to work on a consumer product used by millions across India.- Direct exposure to Product, Business and senior leadership.- Fast-paced environment with autonomy and opportunity to build analytics practices at scale.Key Hiring Preference : Candidates with 5+ years of Analytics / Business Analytics experience, strong B2C exposure, advanced SQL, Python, BI expertise, and experience owning cross-functional analytics initiatives will be prioritized.
