Cloud Container Operations Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team and take on the role of Cloud Container Operations Support Engineer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, and will be responsible for managing and supporting containerized workloads, as well as implementing and maintaining observability solutions. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud-native infrastructure, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cloud technologies, container orchestration, and automation.
Responsibilities

• Manage and support containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Design and implement observability solutions with Elastic Stack (ELK) and Elastic SIEM, monitoring system health and performance across cloud platforms.
• Support cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, and assist with cloud migration and container platform modernization initiatives.
• Develop automation scripts in Python to streamline operational processes and enhance efficiency.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible, promoting consistency and repeatability.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application deployment, ensuring smooth and efficient platform operations.
• Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution, maintaining high service availability.
• Enhance platform stability and operational excellence through SRE best practices, driving continuous improvement.

• Integrate AI/ML and LLM-based capabilities into monitoring workflows, leveraging advanced technologies for better insights.
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure service reliability and a seamless user experience.
  

Qualifications

• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, with hands-on experience in container orchestration and management.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and container & platform technologies.
• Proficiency in observability and monitoring tools, including ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Elastic SIEM, and Elastic Observability.
• Experience with cloud technologies and cloud infrastructure operations, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Python scripting skills for automation and operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their optimization for application deployment.
• Ability to perform incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
• Knowledge of SRE best practices to enhance platform stability and operational excellence.
• Willingness to learn and integrate AI/ML and LLM-based capabilities into monitoring workflows.
