: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Storage Engineer with expertise in PowerScale Isilon and Pure storage solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing storage infrastructure to meet the organizations growing needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain PowerScale Isilon and Pure storage systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess storage requirements and develop scalable solutions.
• Monitor storage capacity, performance, and utilization to proactively address issues and optimize efficiency.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the storage environment.
• Develop documentation, best practices, and standard operating procedures for storage configurations.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive experience working with PowerScale Isilon and Pure storage solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.

  Get Hired
  Certification in PowerScale Isilon is required; additional certifications such as Dell EMC Proven Professional or Pure Storage Certified Architect are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of SAN/NAS architectures, protocols (e.g., NFS, SMB), RAID configurations, and data protection methods.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex storage-related issues.
• Optional: Proficiency in monitoring tools such as New Relic for performance monitoring.
• Optional: Ability to code/script in Python for automation tasks.
• Optional: Experience using Ansible AWX for automating daily work processes.
  

Additional Requirements: The position will involve participation in an on-call rotation schedule to address any critical incidents outside regular business hours.
