Whats this role about?

As Data consulting Expert, you will be responsible for providing advisory and thought leadership on the provision of analytics environments leveraging Cloud based platforms, big data technologies, including integration with existing data and analytics platforms and tools. You would be contributing in multiple competencies within data engineering & analytics, guiding customers on setting up data & analytics platform for their business requirements, advise on next best technologies and help them plan next set of solutions and services to create value for their business users and end customers.

You will drive design & implement analytics, scalable data architectures, and information solutions covering data security, data privacy, data governance, metadata management, multi-tenancy and mixed workload management, implement projects and provide delivery oversight to customers.

Heres how youll contribute:

Data Consulting Expert at Zensar participates in end to end cycle from opportunity identification to its closure and takes up complete ownerships of project execution and provide valuable expertise in the project. You will do this by:

• Understanding customer requirements and create technical proposition
• Contributing to SoWs, technical project roadmaps, etc required for successful execution of projects leveraging Technical Scoping & Solutioning approach
• Building Solution roadmap, cost estimates & strategy for DE&A platform
• Managing and owning all aspects of technical development and delivery
• Understanding requirements and writing technical documents
• Ensuring code review and developing best practises
• Planning end to end technical scope of the project and customer engagement area including planning sprint and delivery
• Estimating effort, identifying risk and providing technical support whenever needed
• Demonstrating the ability to multitask and re prioritizing responsibility based on dynamic requirements
  
• Leading and mentoring teams as needed

Skills required to contribute:

9-12 Years of Data and Analytics experience with minimum 5+ years in one of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP Cloud native data services

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Extensive experience in Cloud Data stack from consulting, setting up data platform, rearchitecting or refactoring data platform to cloud native services along with open source technologies
• Experience working with various data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud etc.)
• Good experience in Requirements Analysis and Solution Architecture Design, Data modelling, ETL, data integration and data migration design
• Well versed with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and similar project delivery methodologies.
• Experienced in internal as well as external stakeholder management
• Experience in MDM / DQM / Data Governance technologies like Collibra, Atacama, Alation, Reltio will be added advantage.
• Cloud Solution Architect / Engineer certification will be added advantage.
• Nice to have skills: Working experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Open source stack like Hadoop Bigdata, Pyspark, Scala, Python, Hive etc.
