Job Description
- As a Cloud Engineer at 3i Infotech, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources to ensure the high availability and scalability of cloud-based applications and services. Your expertise will be crucial in setting up virtual networks, subnets, firewalls, and load balancing to optimize the performance of GCP resources.
Your key responsibilities will include overseeing cloud storage management, configuring IAM roles, implementing security best practices, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. Monitoring the health and performance of GCP resources, setting up logging and monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud performance issues will be essential parts of your role.
In addition, you will be expected to optimize cloud costs through efficient resource management strategies and automate cloud infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar technologies. Collaboration with development, DevOps, and security teams to align cloud resources with project requirements and maintaining up-to-date documentation regarding cloud infrastructure configurations will also be part of your responsibilities.
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform, a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components, and familiarity with GCP tools like Cloud Console and Cloud Deployment Manager. Knowledge of security best practices, cloud automation and scripting tools, GCP services like Google Kubernetes Engine and Big Query, as well as experience with CI/CD pipeline integration will be highly beneficial.

Your troubleshooting skills, ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in cloud environments, strong communication, and collaboration abilities are essential for success in this position.
