Job Description

Role Purpose:
The role will lead the end-to-end ethanol business, with complete ownership of procurement, commercial operations, sales, profitability, and business expansion. The position requires a strong commercial leader with deep understanding of feedstock sourcing, ethanol market dynamics, risk management, and international trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the complete ethanol business operations with full P&L ownership
- Manage end-to-end activities from procurement of feedstocks to sales of ethanol
- Develop sourcing strategies for key feedstocks and ensure supply continuity
- Drive domestic and international ethanol sales and business development initiatives
- Monitor ethanol market trends, pricing, regulations, and global demand-supply dynamics
- Develop and implement commercial and risk management strategies


- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, regulators, and industry stakeholders
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, finance, and trading teams for smooth execution
- Identify new business opportunities and support expansion into new markets
- Lead and mentor cross-functional commercial and operational teams
Candidate Profile:
- 15-22 years of experience in ethanol, biofuels, agri commodities, sugar, or allied sectors
- Strong exposure to feedstock procurement, ethanol sales, and commercial operations
- Proven experience handling P&L and business leadership responsibilities
- Strong understanding of ethanol market intelligence, pricing mechanisms, and industry regulations

- Experience in risk management and commercial strategy development
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Willingness to travel internationally as part of the role
