Job Description

The Transaction Fraud Strategist role at Vagaro Technologies Pvt Ltd is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven professional with expertise in fraud prevention, risk analysis, and transaction monitoring. As a key player in the team, you will be responsible for identifying suspicious behavior, optimizing fraud strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include investigating suspicious accounts and activities, analyzing transactional data to identify fraud trends, developing fraud detection rules, and collaborating with various teams to enhance fraud prevention measures. You will also be required to stay updated on industry fraud trends, implement innovative solutions, and maintain key fraud metrics for continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 3 years of experience in fraud prevention, transaction monitoring, or financial crime investigations. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with tools like SQL, Power BI, or similar are essential. Experience in investigating financial fraud, knowledge of compliance regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams are also required.

In addition, knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as PCI DSS, AML regulations, or card network risk requirements would be advantageous. Certifications like CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are a plus.
