Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to lead and execute social media strategies for our media operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in content planning, audience engagement, brand building, digital campaigns, and analytics across multiple social media platforms. The candidate will play a key role in increasing brand visibility, audience growth, and engagement through innovative digital storytelling and trend-driven content strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business and branding goals.
- Manage and grow the company's presence across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and other emerging channels.
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging multimedia content, including posts, reels, stories, videos, and campaigns.
- Coordinate with creative, production, marketing, and editorial teams for content execution.
- Monitor social media trends, viral content, competitor activities, and audience behavior to drive engagement.
- Analyze campaign performance using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
- Manage online reputation and ensure timely responses to audience queries and comments.
- Collaborate with influencers, media partners, and external agencies for promotional campaigns.
- Stay updated with the latest digital marketing and media industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in media, entertainment, digital media, or advertising industries.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, content strategies, and audience engagement techniques.
- Experience handling high-engagement social media pages and campaigns.

- Excellent copywriting, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Knowledge of video content trends, influencer marketing, and digital branding.
- Basic understanding of graphic design and video editing tools is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with media houses, entertainment brands, news platforms, or digital content companies.
- Familiarity with SEO, paid advertising, and performance marketing concepts.
- Strong creative thinking and campaign ideation skills.
