Job Title: Data Annotation / Labelling Engineer

As a Data Annotation / Labelling Engineer at Sony India Software Centre, you will play a critical role in the development of cutting-edge AI and machine learning models by focusing on the annotation and labelling of datasets. You will be working closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers to ensure that data is accurately labelled and ready for training sophisticated algorithms. Your responsibilities will include reviewing data sets, applying the appropriate labels, maintaining data quality, and adhering to project timelines. You will also be involved in developing annotation guidelines, tools, and workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for working with data. 
Key Responsibilities: 
- Perform data annotation and labelling on various types of data, including images, videos, and text. 
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data annotations in line with project requirements. 
- Collaborate with team members to refine annotation guidelines and processes. 
- Conduct quality assurance checks to verify the integrity and precision of annotated data. 
- Participate in the development and improvement of annotation tools and infrastructure. 
- Maintain documentation for annotation processes and guidelines. 
- Provide feedback on dataset quality and suggest improvements to enhance data representation. 
Skills and Tools Required: 
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality. 
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines. 
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
- Good communication skills to relay information effectively to team members. 
Preferred Qualifications: 
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 
- Experience in data annotation or a similar role is a plus. 
- Knowledge of image and video processing tools is beneficial. 
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript is an advantage.
