Lead - Treasury Risk Management

Key Responsibilities:

Market & Economic Analysis

• Track and analyze global markets, central bank actions, and macroeconomic indicators.
• Prepare market intelligence reports and dashboards for senior treasury leadership.
• Support identification of hedging and market opportunities to improve risk-adjusted outcomes.

Hedging & Financial Risk Management

• Assist in the execution and monitoring of interest rate hedging strategies using swaps, and options.
• Monitor hedge effectiveness and exposure limits, highlighting deviations and risks.
• Support enhancement of risk measurement models and reporting frameworks.

Interest Rate Risk & Investment Support

• Support interest rate risk analysis and implementation of approved hedging strategies.
• Conduct analysis of fixed-income and credit investment opportunities, including yield, duration, and credit risk assessment.
• Assist in portfolio monitoring and performance reporting.

ALM Analytics

• Support Asset-Liability Management (ALM) analysis across assets and liabilities.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to RBI, FEMA, SEBI, and internal treasury policies.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, deal confirmations, and regulatory reporting.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with banks, brokers, exchanges, and internal finance teams for trade execution and settlements.
• Support negotiations by preparing financial analysis and benchmarking data.
• Act as a key point of contact for operational treasury and risk-related queries.

Process Optimization & Digital Enablement

• Support automation initiatives in trade processing, exposure reporting, and risk analytics.
• Improve data accuracy and timeliness through system enhancements and controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice adoption within treasury operations.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of FX, commodity, and interest rate risk concepts
• Working knowledge of derivatives, hedging instruments, and fixed-income products
• Familiarity with RBI, SEBI, FEMA regulations
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, financial models, and treasury systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Detail-oriented with high standards of governance and controls

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA (or equivalent)
• 7-10 years of experience in treasury, risk management, markets, or corporate finance
• Exposure to hedging, market analysis preferred
