Assistant Manager– Accounts (Finance)

About The Role
We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented finance professional to lead and manage core accounting operations in a fast-paced AdTech environment. This role requires strong expertise in invoicing, GST compliance, reconciliations, and revenue tracking, along with the ability to partner with business teams and streamline financial processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end invoicing and billing operations aligned with client contracts and campaign performance
• Review and approve Insertion Orders (IOs) and ensure accurate mapping with campaigns and revenue
• Lead bank reconciliations, revenue reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny to ensure financial accuracy
• Manage GST filings, returns, and compliance, including handling audits and notices
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Ad Operations, and Client Servicing teams for billing accuracy and revenue assurance
• Drive accounts receivable (AR) management, including collections, ageing analysis, and cash flow tracking
• 
  Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closures
• Implement and improve financial processes, controls, and automation for efficiency
• Prepare MIS reports, financial dashboards, and management insights
• Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance requirements
• Mentor and guide junior team members (if applicable)
  

Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred)
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance (AdTech, Media, Digital industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GST regulations, invoicing cycles, and reconciliations

Get Hired
• Experience in handling IO-based billing / campaign-level revenue tracking
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced), accounting tools (Tally, Zoho, or ERP systems)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth environment
  

Good To Have

• Understanding of AdTech pricing models (CPM, CPC, CPA, CPL)
• Experience with automation tools or financial dashboards (Power BI, etc.)
• Prior experience in scaling finance processes in a startup or growth-stage company
