Division Overview
Adenza Cloud Services team, focusing on our Calypso suite of cloud-based capital markets solutions.
The Cloud Product Manager will be a key business analyst supporting a constantly evolving set of strategic initiatives to drive a continuous cloud transformation program across the whole of the Cloud Services division. The Cloud Product Manager will participate in the creation of the cloud strategic roadmap and drive key project initiatives within that roadmap.
Team And Role Overview
The Cloud Product Manager will report to the Principal Product Manager who is the global head of Calypso cloud initiatives. You will have direct touchpoints within cloud engineering / DevOps, QA and delivery teams to ensure cross-functional delivery. A successful candidate will understand the unique nature of providing hosted solutions via Software-as-a-Service, have an established track record of project delivery in an Agile methodology, possess an ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and be able to show a demonstrated history of initiative.
The Cloud Product Manager will: collaborate with the Principal Product Manager, conduct business analysis on strategic and tactical cloud initiatives through KPI metrics to measure the effectiveness of the cloud transformation program against business objectives such as operational efficiency; work across organizational silos to ensure delivery of the roadmap; and, most importantly, provide hands-on project management of roadmap initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Evolution Roadmap: Support the Principal Product Manager in the management of the running inventory of cloud roadmap proposals, participate in the backlog grooming process, and ensure each proposal has a clearly defined and measurable business benefit in the context of hosted solutions.
• Cloud Requirements Definition: Translate strategic and tactical cloud roadmap initiatives into documented requirements and user stories, working closely with cloud architects and engineers to ensure project alignment. Provide hands-on acceptance testing, as necessary, as part of project delivery.
• Strategic Project Execution: Support the Principal Product Manager in driving targeted cloud projects, working within the Cloud Services division and across other Calypso departments as necessary. Provide the necessary process, discipline, initiative, and sheer persistence to deliver projects in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing demands on time. Follow up and provide updates to the Principal Product Manager on cloud projects and initiatives. Manage and communicate progress on escalated issues that require product or development input
• Change Program Measurement: Track the effectiveness of each initiative against the stated business objectives and KPIs
• Roadmap Documentation and Communication: Provide updates and reports on roadmap status and KPI achievement to the Principal Product Manager for presentations to internal stakeholders
  

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

• 2-5 years of work experience as a product manager, project manager or business analyst in a cloud or SaaS environment, such as a public cloud managed hosting provider or a software firm offering cloud hosted enterprise software.
• Demonstrated high quality communication of requirements in both written and verbal form.
• Demonstrated excellence and extreme comfort in communications with technical staff such as developers.
• Demonstrated experience in working with cloud architecture and security architects, which requires familiarity with cloud technology architecture and security issues.
• A focus on outcomes, not titles. An attitude of rolling up the sleeves and getting the job done right now, combined with an allegiance to retrospectives and continuous improvement.

  Get Hired
  Very strong collaboration and organization skills. Comfortable working up, down and across the organizational chart.
• Very strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with preparing ROI and KPI models to evaluate targeted and actual outcomes.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong working knowledge of Atlassian suite of productivity tools, particularly Jira and Confluence.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of productivity tools, particularly SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with capital markets front-to-back and risk solutions a plus, particularly prior experience with the Calypso suite of products.
• Project management certifications, particularly in the Agile methodology, a plus.
• Entry level certifications on managed cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, OCI) a plus.
