Designation: Account Director - Public Relations

The Account Director leads our vibrant team in crafting and executing strategic, creative communication solutions for our clients. This is a key leadership role, requiring a deep understanding of integrated communications, stakeholder management, and business development.
As a point of contact, the Account Director will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and client CXOs to bring communication strategies to life across both traditional and digital platforms. This individual will also play a crucial role in building the firms visibility and business by developing compelling pitches and nurturing client relationships at the highest levels.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong command of integrated communications and a proven track record in leading high-performing teams. They bring a balance of creativity, business acumen, and emotional intelligence to the table, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow client relationships at both operational and leadership (CXO) levels through regular strategic and digital advocacy, including crisis management when needed.
- Translate overall strategies into actionable tactical plans and ensure timely and effective delivery by the team.
- Helps develop award-winning, insightful and creative ideas to drive results and brand influence for our clients
- Builds/improves relationship with senior journalists and influencers across the country
- Oversees development and maintenance of a national media universe for all clients
- Guide Account Managers and team members in tracking news trends and proactively pitching stories to secure media coverage.
- Drive new business opportunities by participating in and leading client pitches focused on social and digital strategy, investigative research, campaign analytics, and media monitoring.
- Directs the Account Manager in client retention, improvement of Client Satisfaction Score & overall servicing cost management of client portfolio
- Coaches, develops and mentors a team of highly engaged individuals & empower them to succeed in their careers
- Strong network of media contacts and a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment by effectively addressing and resolving team conflicts.

- Self-motivation: Should be able to create their own schedule and routine to keep themselves focused on the task without other distractions.
- Willing to learn and use digital tools: Virtual communication and collaboration is key. The candidate should be willing to learn and use digital tools such as video conferencing apps and other company-specific digital platforms.
- Time consciousness: Should value their own s as well as the teams time Setting meetings and deadlines at appropriate hours to ensure they work in sync with everyone else.
- Critical thinking: Should be able to think creatively or use tools which help in fleshing out ideas.
Qualifications & Experience
- Masters/Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication/PR/Journalism from a reputed institute or
- MBA in Marketing
- 10 - 13 Years experience in a PR Agency
- Good understanding on B2C and B2B Technology Practice (Enterprise Technology)
