SummaryLocated in Chennai, India, this on-site role involves overseeing and managing IT infrastructure projects. The individual will be responsible for defining project charters, communication plans, governance metrics, and risk monitoring. The role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, leading project teams through all phases, and ensuring successful project completion.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define and manage project charters, communication plans, governance metrics, and risk mitigation strategies for IT infrastructure projects.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and lead project teams through kick-off, planning, execution, and closure phases.
- Oversee project budgets and forecast spending.
- Perform stakeholder management and provide ongoing project updates.
- Resolve issues and eliminate roadblocks to achieve project goals.
- Interpret and communicate the Voice of the Customer (VOC), Voice of Business (VOB), and Critical Customer Requirements (CCR) to develop a comprehensive Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Function independently in leading large, diverse program or project planning sessions.
- Adjust plans to meet evolving business needs.
Required Skills:
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in vendor relationship management.
- Previous experience with information technology projects.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Problem-solving skills.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor&rsquos degree or equivalent job-related work experience.
- 2-4 years of progressively responsible project management experience.
- Strong networking/technical skills are a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
- Strong procurement-related experience is advantageous.
- Strong business acumen, risk management, and issue resolution skills.
