Job Description
- Ensuring periodic audit of structure stability and following up the same with civil repair and maintenance for continuous plant availability and reliability as per requirement with respect to the following: Entire plant (turbine Building, Boiler and ESP, CHP area, ARW unloading section) including make-up pump house with under-water pipelines located outside the plant area, ETP (old and new), WTP Cooling towers, Road and drainage, boundary wall, Admin areas, utility building, stores and other offices, CHP coal sheds and chimney Ash Dyke including Pump House and Water Treatment Plant Entire colony comprising of Quarters School and hospital, Roads, lawns and park Waterworks, water lines and sewer lines Ensuring civil work and refractory work of coal bunker and DM plant Ensuring Pump house Operation and ash water treatment operation Ensuring continuous availability and production by Brick Plant.
- Partnering planning and budgeting with respect to all additions, modifications, up gradation and regular maintenance for the next financial year Checking and reviewing all PR/ BOQ and estimates for ordering. Increasing focus on Technology to get the maximum productivity at low cost Following the concept of 5R +2 S and implement the same down the line.
- Partnering cost projections for working capital and cash flow management for the next financial year with respect to area of maintenance Improving profitability by optimizing working capital through spare management for brick making machine and civil construction equipment, tools & tackles without compromising on safety and environment aspects Ensuring maximizing of brick and techplast sale through increase of customer base and increasing sale to existing customers.

- Collaborating with other maintenance teams to provide support as per schedule Ensuring execution of breakdown maintenance activities with minimum downtime Ensuring all sections of the civil maintenance team partners with the commercial team in vendor management by giving inputs on requirement and performance evaluation with respect to both service and products suppliers Ensuring seamless data sharing and collaboration within and across functions Ensuring minimum response time in providing information and solutions to all internal customers Ensuring handover of quarters with appropriate civil rework, maintenance and painting to eligible new employees Ensuring arrangements with respect to temporary structure and seating for events involving employees and their families.
