Job Description
Role Description The Relationship Officer – HDFC Branch Banking will be responsible for building and managing relationships with bank customers to promote Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance products and services. In this full-time, on-site role based in Sirsa, the Relationship Officer will work within HDFC branch premises to identify customer needs, provide suitable insurance solutions, and support sales and business growth targets. Daily activities include meeting customers, conducting financial needs assessments, explaining product features and benefits, and assisting with policy applications and documentation. The role also involves coordinating with branch staff, ensuring high standards of customer service, handling queries and concerns, and maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory and company guidelines. The Relationship Officer is expected to actively follow up on leads, participate in branch-level promotional activities, and contribute to building long-term, trust-based customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management skills to effectively engage with bank staff and customers and build sustainable, trust-based partnerships.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to understand insurance and investment products and explain them clearly in line with customers financial goals.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written abilities, active listening, and professional presentation.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to address queries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive experience at the branch.

- Candidates should possess proven Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing, with the ability to meet defined business targets.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in banking, insurance, or financial services; familiarity with local markets in Sirsa; proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM tools; and a customer-centric, ethical approach to selling.
- A bachelors degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred, along with the ability to work collaboratively within branch teams and comply with regulatory and company
