Position Summary:
We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to lead strategic engagements with digital native companies in India. Based in Bangalore, this role is ideal for a results- driven sales professional with deep experience in database or data infrastructure sales and a strong network across fintech, ecommerce, gaming, and digital-first companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the complete sales cycle for assigned digital native accounts, from prospecting to close.
- Develop and execute account plans to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders including CTOs, Heads of Engineering and Architects.
- Evangelize Aerospikes real-time data platform, tailoring value propositions to customer pain points and growth goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams.
- Leverage sales methodologies such as Command of the Message and MEDDIC/MEDDPICC to drive pipeline and forecast accuracy.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and ensure timely, accurate CRM updates (Salesforce).
- Represent Aerospike at industry events, conferences, and digital tech forums.

- 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with at least 3 years focused on database, data infrastructure, or cloud platform solutions.
- Strong understanding of the digital native ecosystem particularly fintech, ecommerce, gaming, and consumer tech.
- Demonstrated success in engaging and closing complex, high-value deals.
- Proficient in using Command of the Message and/or MEDDIC/MEDDPICC frameworks to manage sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
