Senior Quality Engineer - Avionics And Power Electronics

Eligibility

What does it take

You will work with engineers and quality inspectors and develop, manage and execute commercial quality processes for the design, test and manufacture of electrical and electronic hardware for flights

You will review and improve work orders , work on screening, testing and qualifcation of EEE components, review nonconformances, lead the execution of continuous improvement activities (root cause analyses), lead corrective Actions and Quality Reviews, such as pre-ship and hardware acceptance reviews.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with quality managers and quality inspectors to perform screening, visual, dimensional inspections, special processes, integrity/acceptance testing of flight electronics hardware and software.

Establish quality systems, procedures & training methods for ensuring components quality & supplier quality systems. - Implement initiatives for improving productivity & quality across all functions of the organization.

Effectively interacts with cross functional teams to improve reliability of boards and electronic components

QUALIFICATIONS:

Engineering in Electrical and Electronics

Experience in handling PCBs, soldering, PCB package assembly, electrical motors and actuators, VFDs

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Excellent oral and written communication skills

3 years experience as Quality Engineer in Avionics / Power Electronics Systems

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Willing to travel - 30%
