Air India - Senior Manager - Revenue MIS

Job Purpose:
- To develop and maintain advanced revenue management information systems (MIS) to track, analyze, and report on revenue performance metrics for Air India's Revenue Management department.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and interpret revenue data, providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimize revenue generation strategies.
- Enhance data accuracy, streamline reporting processes, and implement data visualization tools for effective decision-making within the Revenue Performance sub-department at Air India
Key Accountabilities

Data Analysis and Insights
- Analyze revenue data from various sources, including ticket sales, fare classes, customer segments, and routes, using advanced data analysis tools and Revenue Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in revenue performance to optimize revenue growth strategies.
- Review forecast revenue trends and make data-driven recommendations for pricing adjustments and revenue optimization.
- Monitor and analyze customer booking behavior, preferences, and buying patterns to identify revenue optimization opportunities and enhance pricing strategies.
Competitive Analysis and Market Trends
- Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to understand market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and market share dynamics.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, regulatory changes, and economic factors affecting revenue performance.
Reporting and Dashboard Development
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards, reports, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track revenue performance across geographies, point-of-sales on an aggregate and flight cabin level.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of reports to stakeholders across the organization, including senior management, sales, marketing, and finance teams.
Technology Integration and Process Improvement
- Lead the integration of new data sources, systems enhancements, and automation initiatives to improve revenue analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Identify process inefficiencies, data gaps, and opportunities for workflow automation to streamline revenue management operations.
- Mentor and train the Revenue MIS team on data analysis techniques, software tools, and best practices for revenue performance management.
